Anak Agung Gede Anum Putra, dari Fakultas Kedokteran Udaya Bali, dalam analisanya yang berjudul: "Kematian Akibat Tenggelam, Laporan Kasus", memberikan uraian yang menarik terkait penyebab kematian oleh tenggelam.

Hal ini memerlukan beberapa analisa, antara lain pemeriksaan luar, pemeriksaan dalam, pemeriksaan diatom, dan pemeriksaan tambahan berupa pemeriksaan toksologi.

Ketika melakukan semua hal ini, kita akan mendapat kesimpulan terkait penyebab dan waktu kematian. Salah satu cara ilmiah guna menentukan waktu kematian seseorang itu adalah lewat pemeriksaan luar, yakni bau jenazah.

Menurut berbagai media lokal, jenazah Alm. Marthinus Yohame, ketua KNPB wilayah Sorong Raya, pertama kali ditemukan pada pukul 07.00 WIT (Selasa, 26 Agustus 2014) oleh seorang Nelayan di sekitar Kepulauan Nana. Setelah perahunya mendekati mayat, maka jenazah itu mengeluarkan bau busuk.

Maka untuk menjawab waktu kematian seseorang, karena jenazah telah bau, maka kembali ke teori diatas, kematian ini telah memakan waktu 1x24.

As a child growing up in the remote highlands of West Papua, we often heard stories from the elders about how our ancestors' spirits lived in the mountains and forests. How they would cry if they saw what is happening today. Illegal logging is rife, and the world's largest gold and copper mine, Freeport, has caused permanent environmental devastation to our sacred lands that is visible from space.

Earlier this week, Indonesian security forces opened fire on striking workers at the Freeport mine. It left one person dead and several others wounded, leading Sam Zarifi, Amnesty International's Asia Pacific director, to say that "Indonesian police have not learned how to deal with protesters without resorting to excessive, and even lethal, force". Rough justice is nothing new to my people. Journalists are not permitted entry to Papua but raw footage from Papuans' mobile phones regularly documents Papuans suffering brutality at the hands of Indonesian security services.

KNPB Committed, Papua Freedom Fighting Without Violence!

Jayapura, West Papua National Committee (KNPB) confirmed, until now KNPB still committed to nonviolent resistance.

 
This is confirmed in the General Chairman KNPB, Victor Yeimo, told Reporters Suara Papua in Abepura (09/10/2014), this afternoon.

Yeimo said, there are efforts being conducted by the Papua Police to criminalize continuous, chase, and kill members of the KNPB in the entire territory of West Papua.

"During this time, we are trying to take the fight to the efforts of dignity. However, always take the path of violence and undignified is the military and police," he said.
